ISK is a new podcast dedicated to the generation of ISK, through trading, industry, PI, etc, and the general economics of EvE. This is the first episode, which is generally just an introduction with a single topic. It is currently hosted on Podbean until I can get my website back online, and, as the first episode it is pretty rough. I have always been more of the "do first and ask forgiveness later" kind of dude, meaning that my first draft is quite often my final draft.
Anyways, enjoy, and if you have feedback/ideas let me hear it.

I know that if you hit the "Subscribe to iTunes" button in the bottom right you can upload it into iTunes, beyond that I haven't been able to find it in the iTunes store yet.

Whelp.
Looks like the problem was that the bandwidth was eaten up in the first couple of days. Some people were able to listen to it when the month turned over but that only lasted a couple of days again. Anyways, I have since upgraded the account to a higher bandwidth so it should run fine now. Stinks I had to start paying, but its cheap and to be honest, I guess its the kind of problem you want to have.
Didn't help me that my laptop simultaneously decided to get a virus that kept me from using a web browser AND the credit card tied to my EvE account was suspended due to something with my address which got my subscription dropped.
Anyways.
Next episode will be up this weekend. Stay tuned.

with a couple other small things
Originally by: Castagar Very much enjoyed both your podcasts Tehg, especially as it's (so far) a one man show. Like your angle on just talking about isk generation -very interesting. Any thoughts on getting in guests in the future?
Thanks
I've considered it, and when I start talking about stuff that really is outside my realm of knowledge I will have to. For instance I plan on doing an episode on scamming and I am going to need to have a scammer on for that show.
I probably won't have anyone else on for a while though, as I am a pretty abrassive overly opinionated a**hole who loves to argue more than anything else, and I am not formally trained in economic theory. So if I have someone else on there who is, I will start arguing with them and probably end up calling them an "old guard idiot that only understands the textbook definitions and is incapable of actually understanding the system and instead can only regurgitate others works and pass that off as knowledge"
Or something to that effect.
Having other people on has the unfortunate possible side effect of either me being a total prick to someone who doesn't deserve it or me being outed as not knowing what I am talking about, neither of which will PUSH SALES.

Edited by: Tehg Rhind on 14/05/2011 19:34:00 Episode 4 is up.
This episode covers some of the major styles of trading in EvE and the different benefits/cons of them etc, as well as a short section on supply/demand and some speculation comments based on possible upcoming agent changes.
As always this episode IS EXPLICIT, possibly more so in this episode dues to some clips I used from Glengary Glenross.

Edited by: Tehg Rhind on 04/06/2011 03:07:30 Episode 6 is up out and FABULOUS! In this episode we cover Reprocessing, arguably the best place for a new trader to start, then do a bit of discussion on what microtransactions really mean for the economy, and wrap it up with some HOLY SPERGING on how rage-quitters are pretty much worthless tools that no-one cares about. Even their mothers.
Episode 6 - The Junkman Cometh!

Just wanted to pop in and say I really enjoy the podcast. I've learned quite a bit about the ingame market and economic mechanics and just wanted to say I really appreciate what you do and I hope you can keep things up. Congrats on being so successful and thanks for sharing the secrets with the rest of us!
+1

Appreciate the kind words. Can't really take that much credit for a lot of what I have mentioned as I stole it all from someone else, and a lot if it isn't probably isn't as useful as you/I think, but hey, THAT'S EVE!

Edited by: Tehg Rhind on 15/07/2011 04:51:43 Next episode is up. In this episode we talk about T1 production, reduced activity trading, and the difference between being a man and a punk. In previous episodes I have talked about being a pretty serious PvP player as well. What I didn't talk about is that I have no problem for calling a punk b*** a punk b***, I'll do it in corp, I'll do it in local, and I do it in this podcast. In this episode you will hear a little of my nastier side.
Should be fun.

I'm not sure what's going on but for whatever reason the latest episode isn't showing up on iTunes. I'll give it a couple of days, because I think there is a slight delay, but if it doesn't get there I'll look into it.
